Shipping Areas

  • Free shipping applies only to the 48 continental/contiguous United States, and Washington, DC.

  • We do not ship to PO Boxes.

  • We do not ship to Alaska and Hawaii.

Free Shipping

All orders qualify for free shipping within the contiguous United States.

Any applicable shipping costs (if any) are clearly shown at checkout before payment.

Shipping Methods

Shipping methods are determined by product size and weight:

  • Small and standard items: USPS, UPS, or FedEx

  • Large or heavy items: LTL Freight (curbside delivery)

Carrier selection is determined based on product size, destination, and delivery requirements to ensure safe and efficient shipment.

Order Cut-Off Time & Processing

Orders placed Monday–Friday before 6:00 PM (GMT-05:00) Eastern Standard Time (New York) are processed the same business day.

Orders placed after 6:00 PM, on weekends, or on holidays are processed the next business day.

Order Processing & Handling Time

All orders are fulfilled from U.S.-based warehouses managed by our authorized suppliers and logistics partners.

Processing & handling time: 2–3 business days

Backordered items may require additional processing time.

Estimated lead times are displayed on product pages when available.
All lead times are estimates and not guaranteed.

Customers will receive order confirmation and shipping updates via email once processing and shipment begin.

Home Upgrade Source manages customer support, order coordination, and post-delivery assistance for all orders.

Estimated Delivery Transit Time

Delivery times vary based on shipping method and destination:

Estimated shipping transit time: 5–10 business days after shipment

Estimated total delivery time (processing + shipping): 7–13 business days from the date of purchase

Extended delivery timelines may apply to oversized appliances requiring freight scheduling and appointment-based delivery.

Freight Shipping

Many of our products are oversized or heavy and require freight shipping.

  • Freight shipments are delivered curbside only

  • Drivers are not required to move items inside a home, garage, or backyard

  • Customers must arrange assistance to move heavy or bulky items

Customers may be contacted by the freight carrier to schedule delivery.
It is the customer’s responsibility to respond to all carrier communications to avoid delivery delays.

Remote or Limited-Access Locations

Free shipping applies to standard, accessible delivery locations.

If a shipment requires special handling (remote areas, limited-access locations, or non-standard delivery conditions), we will contact you before processing the order with available options.

You may approve the additional cost or cancel the order for a full refund.

Delivery Inspection (Required)

Please inspect your shipment at the time of delivery before signing the delivery receipt.

  • Verify the number of boxes and items

  • Inspect packaging for visible damage

If damage is visible:

  • Major damage: Refuse delivery and mark “DAMAGED”

  • Minor damage: Accept delivery and mark “DAMAGED” on the receipt

Post-Delivery Inspection

After delivery, unpack and inspect all items promptly.

Any damage, defects, or missing items must be reported within 5 business days of delivery.
Claims submitted after this period cannot be accepted.

Missing Items

If items are missing:

  • Mark “MISSING” on the delivery receipt before signing

  • Notify the carrier

  • Contact us within 5 business days

If the carrier cannot locate the missing items, replacements will be shipped at no additional cost.

Damaged Items

If damage or defects are reported within 5 business days of delivery:

  • We may offer replacement parts, a partial refund, or a full replacement/refund

  • Items must not be used

  • Original packaging must be retained

  • Repairs are not coordinated by Home Upgrade Source

Damage reported after 5 business days is not eligible for free replacements or refunds.

Manufacturing Residue

Some products may arrive with light residue from manufacturing or testing.
This is not considered damage and does not qualify for replacement or refund.

Stolen Packages (Parcel Shipments)

Once a parcel shipment is marked as delivered by the carrier, responsibility transfers to the recipient. We recommend contacting the carrier to file a claim, and we will assist where possible.
