Manufacturer Warranty Coverage

Most products sold by Home Upgrade Source are covered by the original manufacturer’s warranty, not by Home Upgrade Source directly, unless otherwise clearly stated on the product page.

Warranty coverage, terms, duration, and exclusions are determined by the manufacturer and may differ by brand or product type.

Manufacturer warranties may cover defects in:

  • materials,
  • workmanship,
  • or parts,
    under normal residential use and during the applicable warranty period.

Home Upgrade Source Role

Home Upgrade Source is a retail seller. We do not manufacture the products we sell, and we do not provide an independent product warranty unless specifically stated.

However, we may assist customers by:

  • helping locate warranty information,
  • guiding customers to the correct manufacturer support channel,
  • and supporting communication related to eligible warranty claims when reasonably possible.

What Is Not Covered

Unless specifically stated by the manufacturer, warranties generally do not cover:

  • damage caused during improper installation;
  • misuse, abuse, neglect, or accidents;
  • cosmetic damage after delivery acceptance;
  • improper maintenance or unauthorized repairs;
  • commercial or non-residential use if the product is intended for residential use only;
  • normal wear and tear;
  • damage caused by incorrect voltage, gas, plumbing, or ventilation setup;
  • labor costs, installation costs, or removal/reinstallation costs unless specifically included by the manufacturer.

Warranty Claim Requirements

To help process a warranty request, customers may be required to provide:

  • full name and order number;
  • proof of purchase;
  • model number and serial number;
  • photos or videos of the issue;
  • a clear description of the problem;
  • proof of proper installation, if requested by the manufacturer.

Failure to provide required documentation may delay or prevent warranty claim approval.

Important Inspection Requirement

Customers should inspect all products immediately upon delivery and report any shipping damage, missing parts, or visible defects within the timeframe stated in our Shipping Policy.

Shipping damage and freight issues are not the same as warranty claims. Damage caused during transit must be reported promptly according to our delivery inspection instructions.

Parts, Service, and Repairs

Warranty service, replacement parts, labor coverage, and repair approvals are handled according to the manufacturer’s warranty policy.

Home Upgrade Source does not guarantee that every issue will result in a refund, replacement, or full unit exchange, as warranty outcomes are determined by the manufacturer or authorized service provider.

In many cases, the manufacturer may choose to provide:

  • replacement parts,
  • repair service,
  • technical troubleshooting,
  • or another resolution under their warranty terms.

Extended Warranty Coverage

If an extended protection plan or extended warranty is offered on a product, it will be shown separately on the product page or during checkout.

Any extended warranty plan is subject to the separate terms, conditions, and coverage limits of the warranty provider.

Warranty Limitations

Warranty coverage applies only to the original purchaser unless otherwise stated by the manufacturer.

Warranty coverage may become void if:

  • the product is moved from its original installation location,
  • the serial plate is removed or altered,
  • the product is modified,
  • the product is used outside the intended country or approved conditions,
  • or installation does not meet manufacturer requirements.
